Wako is an animation production company who had switched its name several times: founded as Wako Pro (和光プロ) in 1965, then changed to Wako Production (和光プロダクション, not to be confused with this: wakopro.co.jp) in 1976 and later to Teleimage (テレイメージ) in 1990.
Withdrawn from the animation business in 1993, they changed their name back to Wako Pro, but this time it uses a different kana (ワコープロ). According to ja.wiki, they still exist today to manage the copyrights of their work.
