Maintains the winning formula from S1 but gotten more serious
Its still cutesy, the educational qualities are still in checked though with increased difficulty on the biological vocabulary involved
Its gotten slight focus shift to a more serious tone, focuses on more dire illness, conditions and its grim consequences, less glossing with rose tinted glasses (as S1)
Still creative in its story telling and mimic'ing the body and cells in anime world, well illustrated and animated making it easy to follow
Also in accordance, the plot focus falls more on WhiteBloodCell and other immunity related functions of the body
Nonetheless worry not; still kid, teen and adult friendly with nice balance of comic relief, cuteness & action scenes with lots of education
Also a shorter season (8ep), feels like an extended S1 with new arch. And with the cliffhangers its easy to burn through
Definitely a carry on watch if you liked S1 for its educational quality and cuteness. 7/10 for me still
