This was amusing at times for its over-the-top sorts of interactions. A bit of character progression and character realization also made it enjoyable. It is mostly insanely repetitive in regards to that.
The thing that annoys the hell out of me with this series is the ending. HUGE cliffhanger that just leaves you with a horridly unsatisfied feeling.
I recommend waiting for S2 to finish before ever touching this.

There is a general resemblance in the plot: mankind is a magic-using species, being a mage/wizard/sorcerer/witch etc. is the default, normal state for humanoid beings, but there comes the exception, our despised, outcast Hero, who cannot use magic, but still overturns all odds by sheer physical might and otherworldly athleticism.

Well, I would conclude it as typical shounen with main character using pure strength. Honestly speaking I thought this could go into OPM direction, but it's rather the thing where main character needs a beating before he strikes back. Overall the story goes into interesting direction and character development is not bad (or rather, we still didn't see in the whole season the true power of Mash, so he can still surprise us in a positive way).

A spoof of Harry Potter, where the villains are fascist goons and organized criminals, and the hero is very dumb but lovable, just like all of us. Many of the secondary characters are shitheads in their own ways, but our very dumb lovable hero always manages to find the kindness in his heart to see past their extreme awfulness and find the good in people. Also a lot of pasty eating, so you know it's good time.

Very reminiscent of One-Punch man where the main protagonist is overpowered, but in this instance he is also at a strong disadvantage. This leaves the viewer sitting on the edge of his seat to figure out how he will resolve the impossible tasks set before him. Obviously some of the solutions are quite ridiculous but I expected it going in the premise as it is. It was hard for me to put down the flow and pacing were perfect, characters quirky each in their own way making them quite unique.

The premise of the Mash (MC) not having magic capabilities while everyone else does was interesting, especially when he decides to enroll in an elite magic academy. The MC was alright with his poker face the whole time while being sorta absent minded. The side characters were nothing to write home about. Overall, this has a One-Punch and Harry Potter vibe to it with the jokes and magic, but it's very over-the-top and the characters were average.

This is really awesome! Fun and has some good fighting scene, plus it really gave me lots of laugh. The story felt a bit based off Harry Potter background, but don't let it deceive you, it just has the settings about magic school. LOL. Some part of it is silly fun, but other parts are serious. Really looking forward to season 2.

Pretty fun and over the top. Very similar vibe to One Punch Man. Had more laughs than I expected and the fights were decent overall. Looking forward to season 2.

The main character is overpowered, simple and lovable. He enjoys the simple things in life and the thought for his reason for fighting is just so entertaining (although it is not highlighted much at all). I enjoyed this anime a lot, I don't why I decided to watch it but I didn't know anything about it. The first few minutes were entertaining enough for me to continue and I really like the characters and their dynamic, some of them I wish would appear more often. I second the One punch man vibe and wish I knew of more anime like this. Looking forward to the next season. :)
