Anime: Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha: Shijou Saikyou no Maou no Shiso, Tensei Shite Shison-tachi no Gakkou e Kayou 1l3b15

Would have been an absolute perfection if it wasn't for the occasional edgy lines mc sometimes spews forth like: "Did you really think i'd die just from having my heart crushed?" and similar. These be really cringe. Otherwise mc acts very mature and chill, i really liked that, it's super uncommon to see actually mature mc in an anime.

They also don't make all the girls constantly fawn over him like in typical harems with strong mc's. In here, while he IS popular, nobody is all over him 24/7.

I absolutely love this balanced approach.

Gotta love a show where every other cast member isn't an asshole. The main characters are all likeable and interesting. Since the protagonist has god-like powers, there's a lack of genuine challenges to overcome, but this season seems to focus more on the interpersonal conflicts and rebuilding infamy.

Not bad at all, but it seems like they ran out of time in the end. The final two episodes seem kinda rushed.

I liked it! All powerful Demon king revives himself (or gets revived?) in a far future era where he finds himself in the middle of a conspiracy to destroy what he had achieved (peace). Of course the protagonist is almighty with no close comparison, absolutely badass and he gets a personal harem very quickly, even going as far as having a fangirl group with his OWN personal anthem! Good laughs, great art style and character design and serviceable plot makes this anime a recommended watch.

It was alright, a bit too light though, it had no depth, also all the scenes where the girls were singing was lame and inappropriate, i guess the author was a fan of MJ's Earth song and really wanted to squeeze something like it in the story.

The ending wasn't any better, i guess if you only spend 5 minutes dreaming it up, you can only do so much, there was also no hint of a continuation and yet there will be ?

But i guess i don't mind having watched it.
Recommended for those with nothing better to watch.

Ah, I really love when main character is super crazy OP and fights last less than 1 minute.
It's great watch for me, although I had the feeling sometimes it was brutal and sometimes... too eye candy, if this could keep one pace it would be way better. This anime had huge potential, not really used in 100%, but still awesome.

The next OP protagonist anime, but this time with its tongue firmly planted in its cheek.

- next level excessive displays of power (flip a castle? upend space-time? sure why not)
- protagonist gets an in-universe battle theme from his insane fan club
- fun protagonist who calls out bullshit when he sees it
- good kuudere, GOOD KUUDERE

The early silliness is more fun than later episodes which try to make you care about the plot (which, let's be honest, no one watches this kind of show for), but still hella fun. Strong recommendation for genre fans.

To be honnest, I watched this only to make fun of it and lament the state of today's anime.
And actually, I spent a genuine great time on it. It's really a guilty pleasure kind of show. An over the top parody of all those isekai with OP heros, and it's really funny at doing that. Give it a go, it's dumb and fun. So much over the top yet pretty likable.

Gonna be honest here, I went into this with EXTREMELY LOW expectations, only to be surprised at how much I ENJOYED THIS!

Regardless of how it ends up happening, if you have an OP MC that uses MAGIC as their source of power, it's just AWESOME!

Hey, the way I see it, if they make you care and actually CHEER on a "Demon King" of all things, then I say it was successful anime.

Almost everything about this anime screams "bad", "boring", "Yeah, I've seen it before".

While you may be 100% right, it somehow STILL manages to keep me wanting for more!

The MC absolutely makes the show. If you are looking for amazing plot, settings, world building, and all that-- I'm afraid you wont find it here!

If you are somehow ADDICTED to action and the concept of an OVERPOWERED MC, then this is definitely the move.

I'm more surprised this somehow got a sequel!? Please look forward to it.

Very enjoyable series and really like the concept. Consistent throughout until the last few episodes, where they had to focus on closing it out.

Had they keep doing the same (the school challenge, the hidden OPness, or any isekai-like elements), I'd happily take it even if it ends in a massive cliffhanger. The last episode is really back to your 2012-2015 generic plot.

This is a pseudo-isekai. It started kinda promising and had some funny quotes but in the end, it was never a hill to climb. In these types of series that are similar to one punch man in of power-level, it needs to focus on the side characters growth as they are the only ones capable of any leveling but it was kinda meh and nonsensical on that part. Overall there are some things that bothered me in the series and it might be a total waste of time for some people as there are better series out there that are similar.
